Midwifery research improves maternal and family health and wellbeing

24 August 2016

Midwifery research has brought many benefits for mothers, fathers and their babies, as well as for future pregnancies.

King’s researchers at the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery have worked with patients to develop solutions to ease or resolve health issues associated with pregnancy, birth, and post-birth.

All of our research is driven around supporting clinical practice, supporting better outcomes for mums and their babies

Professor Debra Bick, Professor of Evidence Based Midwifery at King’s.
